Mathematics Teaching Methods
This course provides an advanced practical and theoretical overview to teaching mathematics at the intermediate
level, with an intentional focus on grades 9 and 10 mathematics teaching. The course will examine the
Ontario mathematics curriculum and explore approaches to problem solving; teaching; attitudes toward teaching
and learning mathematics; professional leadership, and equity and inclusion.
